By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety, Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Bradford has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of ApprovalTM in Pulmonary Rehabilitation, with NO deficiencies that require improvement.
Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation’s health care through voluntary accreditation. The Joint Commission’s on-site survey of Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Bradford occurred on March 9, 2013.
Robert Iannaco, Administrator at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Bradford, said “This Disease-Specific Care Certification shows our commitment to providing the highest quality patient care to our pulmonary population and I am extremely proud of the organization’s support during the certification process.” He said that the staff of Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital is always focused on its goal to “continuously raise quality and safety to higher levels.”
