August 2019 – Zachary Wilkins, Administrator at Whittier Bradford Transitional Care Unit, said “Earning Five Stars again is very exciting news for the TCU. It is a true representation of our team’s continuing commitment to providing the highest level of care each and every day. Our star rating is a validation of all our hard work and dedication.”
Whittier Bradford Transitional Care Unit is run by Administrator Zachary Wilkins, Medical Director Dr. Paul Liguori, and Director of Nursing Services Theresa Craig. The Transitional Care Units specialize in aggressive, short term rehabilitative care for those patients who need additional time to transition to home safely after their hospital stay.
CMS created the Five-Star Quality Rating System to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and to help identify areas about which they may want to ask questions. As of April 2019, the Five-Star Health Inspection rating is now based on the three most recent standard health inspections and 36 months of complaint inspections.
