My therapists at Whittier Westboro were simply amazing. The entire therapy team is collaborative and communicative. Every therapist I saw there was engaged and vested con their patient’s progress. My primary PT (Laila) and OT (Kayleigh) were phenomenal. They helped me push myself so that I could go home safely. I simply cannot say enough good things about them. Other therapists I briefly worked with like Sam, Jess, Stephanie and Ashley were also great, but I had much less interaction with them… but I was in good hands with all of them.
The nursing staff is very professional and caring as are the assistants and attendants. The quality of care is excellent. As far as nurses go I felt Jordan and Guadalupe were simply amazing. I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention how helpful attendants Kofi, Ali and Rob were. My case manager Trish was friendly, knowledgeable and kept me updated on pertinent info. All of the people there made an incredibly challenging time in my life much easier. The people named above were the ones I had the most contact with during my stay and I can tell you they have all had a memorable impact on me in a positive way.
For me my two primary therapists, Kayleigh and Laila made the biggest impact in my recovery. Despite the hard work and challenges of therapy we had laughs and good conversation as I pushed through. It wasn’t an easy time, but they made the therapy sessions something I looked forward to each day. If you or a loved one needs a physical rehab center for care I would choose Whittier in a heartbeat. It’s well run and staffed with some amazing people.!
