At Whittier, celebrating milestones is an annual event!
Every year, all of our network facilities hold Years of Service celebrations. We gather to honor and recognize our employees and thank them for their contribution and longevity with the Whittier team. Our employees have built relationships, accomplished goals, and impacted our company and its culture, all things that are celebrated.
At Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital Bradford, our annual celebration was held on September 22. Our Administrator, Bob Iannaco, announced each recipient and their length of service with us, ranging from 5 years to 35 years! He thanked them for their valuable contribution to Whittier, and each recipient was awarded a certificate and a Years of Service pin. In addition, the culinary department prepared a wonderful cookout for all staff! Hamburgers, hotdogs, BBQ pulled chicken, pasta salad, three bean salad and assorted ice creams were on the menu.
Port Healthcare Center held their event on September 29. At Port, we have many loyal and dedicated staff members that have worked not only at Port but at other Whittier facilities. Our Administrator, Kim Grasso, announced each recipient and their length of service with us, ranging from 5 years to 35 years, and she thanked them for their valuable contribution to the network. Here, too, the culinary department served a wonderful lunch for all who attended! On the menu were steak tips, wild rice, green beans, chicken and broccoli alfredo, and salad.
Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Westborough held its Annual Years of Service awards ceremony outside on a gorgeous sunny afternoon on October 13th. The entire hospital staff enjoyed a delicious catered lunch including pasta, lasagna, meatballs, salad and cake. Rebecca Roman, Hospital Administrator, kicked off the event acknowledging and thanking all employee recipients for their dedication to the hospital and its patients. Each employee received their award from their manager who recognized their individual contributions. Awards ranged from 5 years to 20 years of service.
Alfred J. Arcidi, Senior Vice President of Whittier Health Network, said: “Our employees are an essential part of our organization’s journey and success. We are eternally grateful for the dedication and passion they have shown, particularly after these last few stressful years.”
Employees also chimed in on facebook. At Bradford, Debbie Goreham Soehner said “Congrats! Love this employee event. Great people to celebrate.” At Port, Patty Deorocki said “I am proud to work with such dedicated hard-working co workers!”
Thank you again, to all of our staff!
