It was perfect—private and quiet—and Ruth was able to participate fully in the ceremony because she wasn't exhausted from the physical and emotional stress of having to move to an offsite location. Thank you, especially, to Jennifer for arranging this, to Scott for approving it, and to Rob for making sure that we were able to use the rooms that Saturday. “Dear Scott: On March 6, 2007, I had a total right knee replacement @ Beverly Hospital. I was asked by the Beverly Hospital social services person where I wanted to go for my rehab. Naturally they advised me to go to Ledgewood. Since Masconomet was highly recommended by a friend, I elected to go there. After much discussion, social services called and a bed was made available for me at your facility. After 4 days post-op, I was transferred to your facility. When I entered your facility, I knew that I had made the right choice. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the facility was first class. Early the next morning, the PT and OT staff descended upon me, even before breakfast, and we were off and running, with a positive relationship. By the end of the week, I was up, out and about and on my way home. 10 weeks later, on May 15, I had a total left knee replacement, and insisted on repeating the above circumstances. Today is July 15, and I cannot be happier with the results of my surgeries and the successes of my rehab, which I attribute to the fine people at your facility.
